Ephemeral Painting
What would it look like if art moved?
We created 10 ephemeral paintings. Each painting evolves differently across time, imperceptibly at first sight. Look away for a minute, and you'll have a different painting in front of you.
We used Stable Diffusion with frame blending. The works “paint themselves” over the flow of dilated time. The algorithm is programmed to produce a “traditional painting” of a digital substance.
We built 10 of these paintings.
Once sold to an acquirer, we customize the painting size, the frame style and color, and most importantly: we create a unique evolving painting based on your tastes and home interior. The Ephemeral is completely customized to you.
No maintenance is needed. Just attach your Ephemeral to a wall and plug it to power. The screen consumes about 90 watts.
